RCL Branch #176 Forest is undertaking a fundraising campaign to support our planned 2024 Building Refurbishment and Upgrading initiative. We are seeking donations to our building fund that will help us to offset the expected costs of various projects intended to keep our facility a viable space for all that may wish to use it and that will allow RCL Branch #176 Forest to carry out the Royal Canadian Legion’s mission of remembrance and community support.
FUNDRAISING GOAL: $250,000 CURRENT TOTAL: $89,914
Public recognition of any donation of $50.00 or more is planned.
Additional information about the projects upon request. Requests can be sent to 519-786-5357 or to forestlegion@execulink.com and to the attention of John W. Vanos, Building Committee Chair.
Please make the cheque payable to Lambton Shores - Forest Legion Building Fund. Please include you middle initial on the cheques if you have one. Cheques can be sent to or left at the Forest Legion and the cheque will be taken to Lambton Shores, if you prefer not to drive to the Lambton Shores office in Northville.
For other donations via a cheque, the cheque is to be made payable to the Forest Legion Building Fund and can be mailed to or dropped off at the Forest Legion. Cash donations are also accepted at the Forest Legion.
E-transfers for a donation can also be made to br176buildingfund@gmail.com.
As a bonus for all donations received, the Forest Legion will be giving away six (6) framed prints and a limited number of unframed prints of Brian Richardson’s original oil painting, “We Will Remember Them”, which hangs in the Forest Legion.
A ballot for each $100.00 of donation received will be given to each donor. At the end of the campaign, a draw will be conducted. Each winner drawn will have their choice of a framed or unframed print until our supply of prints is exhausted.
The prints and framing are a donation from Brian Richardson in support of the fund-raising campaign.
