Forest Legion Br.176 welcomed in 2018 with our annual New Year’s Levee.
Thank You LA President Shirley Mann for supplying the great tasting homemade soup and her famous clam chowder and moose milk.  Thanks also go to Tracey Vassen for providing the live entrainment. Congratulations go out to Earl Chaffe seen here with Br. President Bill Fraser and Sargent in Arms Ken Parsons receiving his Life Membership award. Also, congratulations go out to member Leo VanderHeyden on winning the 2017 Legionnaire of the Year award. Congratulations also goes to member Ron Dodge on receiving his Veterans Service award and Patty Hopper for receiving her Past Officer ribbon and Executive bar.  A summary of all of this year’s awards can be viewed by clicking on the HISTORY tab under Roll Of Honor.

Recent Legion Rotary cheque donation of $11,900.00,

“Catch The Ace”  progressive raffle program.
Due to new regulations set by the Ontario Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (Information Bulletin # 078 Aug. 2016) All “Catch The Ace” draws must now be videotaped for the record.
The following sequences of events will be video recorded…
Selection of the winning draw ticket;
Selection of the envelope by the bearer of the winning draw ticket;
Reveal of playing card within selected envelope; and
Destruction of the playing card.
